Freedom 2000, LLC d/b/a/ Cando Recycling and Disposal has been providing the community of Point Roberts, Washington with curbside garbage and recycling collection since March of 2010. Additionally, we have been operating the county transfer station situated at 2005 Johnson Road in Point Roberts Washington.
We offer a variety of service options to both residential and commercial customers including
- Weekly pick up
- Every other week pick up
- Monthly pick up
- Recycling every other week
- Special services
- Drop box services (10, 12, 16, 20 and 40 yard drop boxes)
Our rates and minimum service levels are governed by the Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission and also by Whatcom County Ordinance. Please visit our LINKS page for further information.

The following is an outline of how to prepare your curbside recycling. Some recyclable materials require preparation before they can be picked up by Cando Recycling and Disposal. By following these instructions for each recyclable product below, you are insuring that your recyclable items are processed appropriately and safely.
